Homeball

The weekends in Australia aren't shy of activity the last weekend before swat vac (aka hell week before finals) was the GR home ball, each collage has their own formal each semester and we were here for home ball which is like a semiformal dance, but instead a club downtown sponsors it and gives us a free keg and wine all night, very unlike semiformal back at home. it was an excuse to get dressed up and sloppy the aussie's said and hang out with everyone before all the americans had to start packing our bags after 6 amazing months abroad. I couldn't imagine going to uni somewhere where every semester a new group of foreigners came in and you would get to be great mates and then 6 months later would have to say bye to them to possibly never see the again. But i wasn't at al already to start thinking about goodbyes, hell i had some serious studying coming up!
So home ball night arrived and i bought a new dress and did my hair and soon enough we were all on the bus and off to Mad Cow which come to be our favorite bar!
