The river
After a long hard day of classes, the last day of classes! :( bittersweet! why not head down the the river for a quick swim! one thing about the river is how you have to get there! very creepy the first couple times and to definitely be avoided at all costs at night! so you come out of GR and take a left walking almost to the main road and on your left is probably the steepest set of stairs i have ever walked up and down in my life! after walking almost vertically done you have to enter the first tunnel, see this one isn't scary it illuminated, now for a patch of sunlight and then the second tunnel. the second tunnel is a pitch black, even in the day light, graffiti strewn pit of terffifyingness, and its dripping...? don't believe me? i have photo evidence, and of course they were taken during the day, adding to this terrifying adventure is the fact that you cant just walk down the middle, no that would be way to easy! you have to tight rope walk on the edges because the wetness made it soo slick that one slip and you were out, i have witnessed this. after surviving the tunnel you were pretty much home free, just a casual walk through some wilderness and a neighborhood some more wilderness and over a bridge and you were at the river where you can jump in and feel turtles and hope their were no salties (yeah that means saltwater crocodiles!).
